Undercounter Water Filtration System
Installed under the sink, the Undercounter Water Filtration system is convenient and saves space. The unit is designed for a 3-4 year or 5,000 gallon life, whichever occurs first. This unit is constructed with materials made of 100% recyclable food-grade plastics that comply with FDA guidelines. All components are injection-molded and threaded with O-ring seals to eliminate the use of glues and solvents.
A lead-free Vented Faucet is included to conserve water and enhance water pressure. Combining a scientific principle with design engineering, the Vented Faucet helps protect your undercounter unit from surges in municipal water pressure. A prefilter and post-filter are also available for further reduction of particulate present in certain water supplies. Although the Undercounter system is designed to adapt to any existing plumbing, installation by a licensed plumber is recommended.

How does the Undercounter Water Filtration System Work?
Stage 1 A special kind of activated carbon that combines the absorption-rate capabilities of traditional carbon with the enhanced properties of catalytic carbon. This combination does a better job of filtering an organic compound like Lindane (a common pesticide). The results are a healthier and more flavorful water.
Stage 2 A superior blend of bituminous coal-based activated carbon—plus the ceramic-sorbent media—reduces lead, iron, chlorine, and odors while producing pure, natural-tasting water.
Stage 3 The patented dual-chamber flow design directs water upward through the inner chamber and then downward through the outer chamber for maximized media contact effectiveness.
