This entire bed frame is built from nice-sized lodge pole pine logs and sturdy lumber. It includes full log side rails (no metal side rails) for added strength and to keep the rustic look a log bed was meant to have. Most lodge pole pine is white to light golden in color, however each bed will vary because every log has its own unique characteristics.
